Frequently asked questions

Before you request a consultation

Do you accept insurance for consultations?

Makis Health Clinic operates outside most insurance networks. An itemized superbill can be provided for you to submit to your insurer for possible reimbursement; coverage and reimbursement decisions are made solely by your insurance provider.

What happens after the support period ends?

At the end of the initial one-month or three-month support period, you may discuss continued-care options or use the consultation roadmap to coordinate ongoing care with your local physician or oncology team.

How quickly can I get an appointment?

Availability varies because of demand. After your consultation request and required records are complete, the scheduling team will contact you within 48 hours with the next available opening.
